CATS 2021
19 – 23 July 2021 (online) & live talks (TBA in 2022)
Location: The University of Sydney
The CATS 2021 workshop at The University of Sydney will bring together experts and emerging researchers from Australia, the USA and Europe to report on recent results and explore future directions in computational and algorithmic topology and related areas.
There will be a focus on problems in discrete geometry and computational topology. This workshop aims to stimulate interaction between researchers in order to bring about new collaborations on difficult problems that cannot be tackled from one viewpoint alone.
The workshop will run in a hybrid format that includes prerecorded talks, followed up by problem sessions and live Q&A sessions with the speakers, as well as streamed talks given live via the ACE network.
The workshop is organised by Jonathan Spreer (The University of Sydney), Stephan Tillmann (The University of Sydney) and Katharine Turner (The Australian National University), and jointly supported by AMSI and AustMS.
