Modular Representation Theory

This course, organised by Geordie Williamson and Chris Honen, ran in Semester One 2023

This course is designed to show some of the beautiful mathematics in modern modular representation theory. The first 5 or 6 lectures are introductory, and those that follow will be on specific topics in the theory. This website of Tim Dokchitser is a fantastic resource for characteristic zero representation theory of finite groups, it has an enormous number of examples with detailed information. Seminar information and recordings can be found below and in the Modular Representation Theory YouTube playlist.
